Crafters Supplies Give and Take
In alignment with the library’s sustainability plan, we are delighted to offer the crafters supplies give and take. This is a wonderful opportunity to recycle and donate extra supplies which will be loved by the next owner. All proceeds from the event will be used to support programs for the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library.
Check back in September for 2027 dates:

What items do you accept?
We accept any and ALMOST all types of craft supplies, examples include:
- art supplies, craft paint, paper, scrapbooking supplies, etc.
- fabric, thread and other notions
- hooks, needles, needlework, embroidery kits
- beads, jewelry making tools and supplies
- wood crafts

Please review THE LIST OF ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT in the next column. The requirement is that all crafters supply items must be in clean and usable condition. If you’re not sure if your item is accepted, email inquiries and photos to folcrafterssuppliesgandt@
Do I have to donate supplies to “take” items at the event?
No. You do not have to donate supplies to take items.
How does the “take” at this event work?
Browse through all the donated craft supplies, and if you find any “new to you” treasures you would like to take home, consider making a “free will” monetary donation to the Friends of the Library. We accept, cash, check and Venmo donations.
What is “free will” donation?
A “free will” donation is when you make a donation that you think is fair for the items that you are taking. WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECKS, AND VENMO.

The Buy Nothing Saratoga Facebook group is a place to post what you no longer need and make connection with people who do need it. Finally, some things can be recycled at the Transfer Station (recycling is free to everyone there), and if you have a pass to the station you can discard
things there are well.
