A group of CPH Friends travelers made their way to the American Southwest in September to visit three iconic national parks, as well as a unique city.

From the first breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon to the glitz of the Las Vegas strip, it was a journey filled with wonder. The sweep of the Grand Canyon, the colors of Bryce Canyon, and the variety of features at Zion Canyon were all on display for us. A float trip on the Colorado River was a favorite activity for many. We had a few winners at the gaming tables in Las Vegas too!

Along the way of group of 28 bonded with family and friends making up our group, and with new friendships forming.

The CPH Friends travel program offers a variety of experiences to appeal to those who want to explore the United States, as well as those who want to venture abroad. In 2027 we are offering a trip to Venice, Croatia and Slovenia in June, and a trip to California – again combining a national park (Yosemite) with a city (San Francisco) – in September. We welcome travelers from our local area as well as those from other regions. Join us on October 6 at 5 pm at the library to learn more!
