We are very excited about the newest addition to the library’s museum pass program.  It is for local theater group Schenectady Civic Players located in Schenectady’s historic Stockade District. This is a wonderful opportunity to get two free tickets see one of their upcoming shows.

January 30 through February 8, 2026: In the Next Room, a comedy about marriage, intimacy, and the dawn of electricity.

March 20 through 29, 2026: The Seafarer, a chilling Tony-nominated play about the sea, Ireland, and the power of myth.

May 8 through 17, 2026: Steel Magnolias, a beloved modern classic set in a small Louisiana town, where a tight-knit group of women find solace, laughter, and strength in a local beauty salon.

How does the pass work?

You must be a library patron from the tax-district.  To obtain the tickets after borrowing the pass, call the theatre or go to the box office for seating availability.

‘Normal’ library museum pass procedures apply – three-day loan, live in the tax district, one per family, non-renewable, non-holdable, only, $5/day overdue fines.
