Dear Friends of the Library,
Please mark your calendar for Thursday, September 11th, when the Annual Library Budget Vote and Trustee Election will be held at the Library. We ask your support to help keep this valuable community asset flourishing.
Your Library’s resources, programs and services offer opportunities for lifelong learning and growth. It’s a valuable resource for those doing research, studying, seeking employment or just looking for a quiet haven to read, work, or think. Its programs provide opportunities to learn new skills, cultivate interests, or explore the Capital Region and beyond via its free Museum Passes. In so many ways, it’s a magical place for children, teens and adults alike.
The Annual Budget provides funding to sustain and enhance the quality of staffing, materials, programs, facilities and technology provided by the Library. We believe the proposed 2026 budget reflects the responsible approach the Board of Trustees takes in addressing the needs of both the Library and the residents of our community.
We ask for your continued support of this vital community asset.
Information regarding the proposed 2026 Library Budget is available to all residents at the Ask the Librarian Desk and on the Library website. Click on the link below:
