The CPH Friends Used Book Sale has been part of my life for over 15 years. During that time, we have kept our prices the same, while other prices have risen, specifically for those items and programs the Friends underwrite for the library.
As of the September book sale, to help offset rising costs in so many other areas, the price of all adult and young adult books (both paperback and hardback) will now be $1.00. Children’s books will stay at 50 cents, and our Dime Day price on Sunday remains at 10 cents per book. As always, some special books will be priced a little higher based on their value.
Even with the increase, the Used Book Sale remains an exceptional deal! The price of new books has risen anywhere from $8 – $18 for paperbacks and $20+ for hardbacks. And, of course, every used book sale allows the library to do even more for our community.
We hope to see you at our next Used Book Sale beginning Friday, September 26 during our sale times:
Friday 9/26, 11:45am-12:45pm (CPH Friends Members only)
Friday 9/26, 1:00-5:00pm (all welcome)
Saturday 9/27, 10:00am – 4:00pm
Dime Day – Sunday 9/28, 12:15 to 4:00pm
