Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is December 2nd this year. Started in 2012 as a reaction to Cyber Monday’s sometimes excesses, Giving Tuesday encourages people to think about making a donation to nonprofits whose work they appreciate. The CPH Friends encourage you to consider making a donation that will support the services of our wonderful CPH Library.
Ever wonder what happens with the donations you make to the Friends? It all goes to the Library, and here are some examples of what those donations can do:
- With a $5 donation, the library can buy replacement hooks to hang creations in the Art Gallery
- With a $10 donation, the library can buy pens and notebooks for students in the English Language Learning Program.
- With a $50 donation, the library can buy four copies of the year’s Two Towns One Book community read Book of the Year.
- With a $100 donation, the library can buy replacement materials for two Sensory Kits.
If you would like to make a donation, you may do so online using our Donate page. Here you will be given the option to pay by either PayPal or Venmo, or you may send a check written to Friends of CPH Library to:

Please write Giving Tuesday in the check memo line. The CPH Friends and the Library appreciate any and all donations, and all of our patrons whether or not it’s possible for you to make a donation at this time.
