In February, our Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library community nominates the titles and authors of books they think might be contenders for the next year’s book of the year. Nominations end in May.

The Contenders are announced at the beginning of August and voting begins. Our Library community votes for the winning book. Voting ends on September 7, 2025. The winning book is announced at the annual Library Budget Vote.
