The CPH Friends are looking for volunteers to join our Communications Committee!
There’s so much that goes into keeping our members and the community informed about what the Friends are doing. We’re looking for a few volunteers who would enjoy taking a more ongoing role in helping with our communications.
You don’t have to be an expert, and you don’t have to do everything. We’re hoping to build a small team where people can contribute their time and talents in the areas they enjoy.
Ways You Can Help
- Constant Contact: Help prepare and send our monthly newsletter and occasional email updates.
- Social Media: Help keep our Facebook and Instagram pages active with timely news, events, photos, and reminders.
- Website Updates: Make occasional updates to our WordPress website so visitors can find current information about Friends activities and events.
- Writing: Contribute blog articles and other content highlighting our programs, fundraisers, volunteers, and the impact of the Friends.
- Event Photos: Take photos at Friends events that we can share on social media, our website, and in newsletters.
- Poster Creation: Use Canva to create eye-catching posters and promotional materials for upcoming events and activities.
Be Part of the Team
We’re not looking for someone to take on all of these responsibilities. We’re looking for people who can commit to helping with one or more areas on an ongoing basis. Even a small, regular contribution can make a big difference.
If you’re comfortable with social media, enjoy writing, like taking photos, have experience with WordPress or Constant Contact, or simply want to learn a new skill while supporting your local library, we’d love to hear from you!
Help us spread the word about the Friends, promote the library, and connect our community with all that we do.
