In keeping up with the times, we are transitioning our popular Book Friendly Newsletter into a blog format. This format will be familiar to many readers, as countless organizations have already made this shift. However, this may be new to some of you, and you may be asking “what is a blog?”

The simplest answer is that it is an online format for us to share information and updates with you. All blog articles will be individually posted on our website. Each month you will receive a Constant Contact email with the headlines of the month’s blog posts, along with a 2-3 sentence preview of each article.  Each story will contain a link to a page on our website where you will be able to read the full article if you are interested.

The blog will inform you of upcoming events, report on recent activities, and share stories relevant to the library and our community. One of the great benefits of this new format is that if you are looking for information that was featured in any of our past blog posts, it will be easily searchable on our website.

As we update the format for Book Friendly, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to CPH Friends of the Library Board Member Jo Anne Robbins who has been the editor and driving force behind this publication for the last 12 years.  She has invested countless hours in bringing you a professional newsletter filled with great information. Thank you, Jo Anne!
